Message from the President April 9, 2020

I trust this message finds you safe and well.

I want to share a brief update on what FMi continues to do in the spirit of keeping our people healthy and safe, so they remain strong and so our team can continue providing quality services for our customers.

Our team has displayed an extraordinary commitment during this period. I am proud and grateful for their resourcefulness and dedication.

I am also grateful to our customers for an equally extraordinary commitment both within your own businesses and in working with us proactively.

We’ve made some key enhancements to our contingency planning:

1. We are running 3 commuter shuttles to get our work teams to/from their locations safely – avoiding the need to use public transport.
2. Complete cross-training of all core functions has been completed. Administrative staff are working remotely.
3. Our physical offices are shut to most visitors and can be accessed by appointment only for critical situations.  Best practice safety protocols are in place to provide PPE in the event a visit is approved.
4. PPE protocols are now in place throughout our warehouses. Work areas have been zoned to minimize contact. Delivery protocols have been adapted to keep truck drivers and warehouse staff separate and safe.

We’re managing reduced volumes and throughput from our facilities to minimize risk of wider customer network disruptions.

We continue to meet daily with all teams – virtually – and along with maintaining operations we make sure to laugh together and keep spirits high.
